"Chinese Idioms and Their Stories" Special Stamps Issuing Ceremony

Hongkong Post issued today (15 June 2006) the "Chinese Idioms and Their Stories" Special Stamps. At a ceremony held in the morning at the General Post Office, Mrs. Joanna CHOI, Acting Postmaster General, and Professor Richard M.W. HO, President, Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Community College, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, marked the issue of the special stamps by unrolling a scroll to show the First Day Cover of the stamp issue, acting out one of the idioms, "reading is always awarding". As a memento of the occasion, Mrs. CHOI presented to Professor HO and Mr. Michael FUNG, designer of these special stamps, framed stamps and first day covers.
