New Hongkong Post souvenirs and Christmas promotion programme for PostShop and ShopThruPost
The Postmaster General, Mr. Allan CHIANG, announced today that three new items have been added to the extensive PostShop souvenir collection. Ideal for Christmas gifts, each of the products has a postal element and all are available at the 48 PostShop outlets in post offices throughout Hong Kong and through the Hongkong Post Internet shopping mall, ShopThruPost (www.shopthrupost.hk).
The new Ceramic Posting Box Name Card Holder is a beautiful hand-crafted piece of art decorated with a miniature pillar posting box. This unique stationery item can be used as a holder for memos and photos as well as for name cards, making it an attractive and functional gift for only HK$48.
The cute replicas of a Hongkong Post Van and a Speedpost Van are colourful additions to the Hongkong Post Vehicle Series at just HK$39 each. A complete collection of Hongkong Post postal vehicles is now available for ardent collectors.
"Customers will find that our unique and imaginative PostShop souvenirs make ideal gifts for friends and relatives in the festive season," said Mr. Chiang. "We also have some selected PostShop souvenirs at discounted prices, with up to 30% off from 25 November 2005 to 1 February 2006. This means we have an exclusive and quite attractive range of Christmas gifts available at very affordable prices."
"In addition, as a token of thanks for the continuous support of our PostShop patrons, customers who spend HK$200 or more on PostShop products via mail order or ShopThruPost will get a free Sam Watch which usually retails for HK$100," added Mr. Chiang.
To encourage customers to share in the seasonal spirit and enjoy all the advantages of being a ShopThruPost member, a "Members-Get-Members" promotion programme has been rolled out. With any successful referral of friends who register as members of ShopThruPost on or before 31 January 2006, both existing and the new members are entitled to a HK$20 e-coupon to purchase selected ShopThruPost items.
