The Postmaster General, Mr Luk Ping-chuen, announced today (October 7) that there would be no mail delivery during the forthcoming public holiday on October 14 (Chung Yeung Festival).
However, all post offices would open from 9 am to 2 pm to provide full range of normal counter services and sales of the second set of definitive stamps issued since the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
One mail collection would also be arranged for all posting boxes except those which are located on outlying islands and in remote areas.
